Please refer to this editing guide for adding new content to Arcaea Fandom. Any edit not made in accordance with this guide is subject to reversion at the discretion of the moderators/administrators.

General Notes

  • If you leave a page unfinished, mark it with a {{WIP}} tag.
  • For pages with unreleased content, please add {{Pending|Summary=(Song name) data}} to the top of the page.
  • Correct information, correct spelling and grammar are required. Concise language is encouraged.
  • Information must be relevant and verified.
    • If using images from an external wiki, make sure to credit accordingly.

New Announcement or Update

New content will always be announced on the official Twitter. Please edit Template:MainPageNews with announced or released information. Do help us clean up obsolete news as well.

  • When a version update comes out, please also update the Version History page.

New Song

Create a page with the same name as the song.

  • Correct: Harutopia ~Utopia of Spring~
  • Incorrect: Metallic Punisher (Song)

Pages cannot start with lowercase letters due to Fandom settings. In case of a lowercase title like cyanine:

  • Add "{{DISPLAYTITLE:cyanine}}" as the first line in the page source (without quotes).
  • Add "| Title = cyanine" to the song template in the page source (without quotes).

For the song's cover art:

  • The image filename should be the song's name, e.g. Lucifer.png or Snow White.jpg (Fandom automatically adds underscores).

Copy the Song template of an existing page to the new one.

  • All categories are automatically generated by the template. You don't need to add categories to the page manually.
  • For "Illustrator", if they're not listed in-game but the artist is known, use a reference (e.g. Sayonara Hatsukoi).
  • Add "__NOTOC__" on the top of the page (without quotes) to hide the table of contents.

Song Artists

Single artist, English name:

| Artist = (English name)

Single artist, Japanese name (e.g. Clotho and the stargazer):

| Artist = (Japanese name)
| Artist Link = (Romanised name)
| ArtistCat1 = (Romanised name)

Multiple artists (e.g. next to you):

  • Follow above convention for individual artists.
  • Use Compound Artist Link to link each artist.
  • Use ArtistCat2, ArtistCat3, etc. for second, third, etc. artists.

Multiple artists under single alias (e.g. Dreadnought):

  • Follow above convention for individual artists, and treat alias as a single artist as well.
  • If only the alias is mentioned, do not link the individual artist(s). Instead, state in Artists who the alias belongs to.

Page Layout

  • Song Data
  • Official Sound - Use a SoundCloud embed if available (e.g. Sayonara Hatsukoi) or a YouTube official video if not (e.g. Kanagawa Cyber Culvert)
  • Strategy (with subsections for difficulties)
  • Videos (with subsections for difficulties if other videos are present)
  • Lyrics
  • Trivia
  • References

Other Relevant Pages

  • Song list pages
    • Songs by Artist - add the song to its relevant artist subheading (and create a new subheading if the artist hasn't contributed to Arcaea before). Do this for each artist who worked on the song; if it's a collaboration, note it in the Notes column.
    • Songs by Level - add all three difficulties of the song to the appropriate difficulty subheading tables and update the counts in the subheader
    • Songs by Date - add a new row to the bottom of the list
    • Songs data
    • The corresponding song pack page - the info will be transcluded onto Songs by Pack automatically.
  • Add the category for the artist if the artist is new. This should be easy if you included the category on the song page; simply click on it, click "Create Page," and copy this into the contents:
This category includes all songs by <ARTIST_NAME>.

[[Category:Artists]]

If the song is a collaboration work, each artist should get their own category. For example, Arch and n3pu both have their own categories, even though they both only worked on Evoltex (poppi'n mix). (See above for how to do this in the Song template.)

New Song Pack

  • Create a page with the same name as the song pack. If it's a collaboration with X, name it X Collaboration (e.g. HARDCORE TANO*C Collaboration).
  • Copy the contents from another song pack page to the new one and edit all the information.
  • Add a section in Songs by Pack for the new pack (see the existing sections for examples).

New Partner

  • Create a page with the same name as the partner.
    • Copy the contents from another Partner page to the new one and edit all the information.
    • Add the partner to Partners.
