Hikari (Summer) is a limited event Partner in Arcaea, and a variant of Hikari. She can be obtained after purchasing Auxesia and completing her map in World Mode. She and Tairitsu (Summer) were originally obtainable from August 31st to September 9th, 2018 to celebrate the end of summer.

Appearance

Many elements of Hikari's regular outfit are present in her summer outfit, such as her beret and clips, her blue pleated skirt, and her white overskirt and its ribbons. However, much of the rest of her summer outfit is simpler and more lightweight.

Hikari wears a white shirt with short, frilled sleeves and an off-shoulder neckline frilled with red trim. A diamond with a similar design to that of her clips, along with a short red ribbon with white stripes, is attached to her shirt. A red ribbon ending in decorations similar to those on her overskirt is tied around her waist, with the bow resting at her left side.

Skill

Hikari (Summer) combines an EASY Recollection Gauge with a MIRROR skill that flips all charts horizontally.

Notes

In contrast with her original form, Hikari (Summer) has a higher FRAG+STEP stat sum at level 20 (147 vs 139), as well as a reversed stat allocation. In this form, Hikari is more viable to use in world mode, although there are several other STEP-focused partners that are still much more effective, including other mirror partners, e.g. Lethe. World Mode is not affected by clear state (except for premature Track Losts caused by Challenge partners) and, as such, focusing on Recollection Rate rather than getting a high score is not advisable.

Hikari (Summer)'s main attraction is her skill, which is a combination of the MIRROR skill and the EASY recollection rate. This makes her effective for correcting muscle memory/relearning harder charts, while still gaining a Track Complete.
