Character[]
Name[]
Mir's name is derived from the song Mirzam.
Appearance[]
Mir has waist-length dark plum hair, with chin-length layers framing her face. The underside of her hair is magenta, and magenta streaks are visible in her bangs. Her eyes are also magenta.
Mir wears a sleeveless ivory turtleneck dress with gold embroidery around the neckline, and a subtle floral pattern near the hem. Over top of this, she wears a magenta vest and a deep plum jacket with magenta lining and ornate gold designs throughout. Her jacket has open shoulders and long sleeves with scalloped trim and slits running up to the elbows; it is clasped together at the collar and waist. Her upper back is exposed and a deep plum ribbon is tied at her back waist. She wears a pair of dangly magenta earrings surrounded by thin black rings, a gold ornament evocative of a rib cage over her chest, a different gold ornament down the middle of her upper back, and a sharp black bracelet around her left wrist. Her nails are painted black. Her stockings are dark and appear to be semi-opaque, and she wears black strappy shoes.
Mir is always depicted wielding a dark blade with a curved guard and details similar to those on her jacket, as well as a small pink crystal near the guard. The design of the blade is fantastical and appears to be intended for slashing, although Mir stabs with it in her story. She consistently holds it in her left hand.
Personality[]
Mir is shown in her story to enjoy the thrill of combat and, to a much lesser extent, the ability to protect others. Being heavily dependent upon the thrill of being victorious in battle, she loses all hope and motivation to act without it.
Story[]
Mir is the main character of the Obsidian Blade Short Story (which can be read without unlocking her, and only requires her song GIMME DA BLOOD).

Skill[]
Mir's skill uses a modified version of the default Recollection Gauge that grants a Recollection Rate boost that decreases as the song progresses. With her skill, the new Recollection Factor (Rate gain for every PURE note or two FAR notes) is given by:
This boost offers greater Rate gains during the first half of a chart, but lower gains during the second half. This skill does not affect the constant -2 Rate loss for LOST notes.
Despite being a Support type partner, successful completion of songs with Mir gives a purple (normal) clear.
Notes[]
With the above formula for RF, the final note in any chart, no matter the judgement, will cause a Rate decrease. This means that the final Rate will always be lower than 100, even with a Pure Memory (though for most charts, this final Rate loss is smaller than 0.1, and is most likely unnoticeable after rounding).
Trivia[]
- Mir first appeared in the jacket art for Mirzam before being added to the game as a partner.
