Character

Name

Alice is likely named after the eponymous protagonist of Lewis Carroll's children's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), while Tenniel's name likely originates from Sir John Tenniel, the illustrator of the novel.

Appearance

Alice has long, light blonde hair with bangs swept to the right and pale blue eyes. Her hat is white with blue ruffles under the brim and a black ribbon tied under the chin. The band of the hat is also black ribbon with a bow; a small plush white rabbit with a light blue bow covers the knot.

She wears a long-sleeved light blue dress with a cutout on the chest along with a white collar and cravat. The center of her top is white with four gold buttons on a black ribbon down the middle. Below the waist, the dress has two layers: the blue part of her dress splits to reveal a white ruffled skirt underneath. Her cuffs are black, decorated with white ribbon and black buttons. Her gloves are white with black fingertips.

Her stockings are white, and she wears a pair of black Mary Janes with bows on the tops.

She holds an unopened light blue parasol tied with a black ribbon, and she is seated on a darker blue suitcase on its side. Tenniel stands beside her.

Tenniel has short, unkempt black hair and red eyes. He wears a black top hat with a purple ribbon band. Similar to Alice, there is a plush rabbit attached; however, its bow is purple rather than blue.

He wears a dark purple coat with gold detail and velvety red lining, and the collar is lined with white fur. The coat is unbuttoned but fastened with gold chain and a dark blue brooch, showing his dark blue vest and black shirt underneath. His cuffs are open, showing the sleeves of his shirt with white, ruffled cuffs underneath. Outside the collar of his shirt, he wears a purple choker with a silver buckle. He wears a black one-sided capelet with red lining on his left side, secured by a dark blue rope-like tie. His cravat is black with embroidered purple detail, and a red brooch is fastened to it. He wears gray tailored pants.
